Musically inclined?

A little while ago I posted a link to a interesting piece of music (http://halloranelder.livejournal.com/169723.html). Well, it seems someone got bored.

http://blog.livedoor.jp/insidears/archives/27252676.html

It's a Japanese/Chinese site, so most of the text is unreadable. However, what's important is that someone has a link to a midi file of the music, next too the pictures of the sheet music.

Have a listen to it. The scary part is that it doesn't sound all that bad.

Thanks to paradigmshifty.

Japanese site :-)

Tried to read the rest, but failed.

There's a whole series of comments to do with numbers of people, but not sure if it's numbers of people needed to play the music (began to think not when numbers reached the 100's!) or maybe number of people attempting to play it or even number of people who listened to it.....definitely discussing numbers of people!!! *sigh*

Though it can be quite fun only picking up smidgins of a written language; I can create whole new stories!

Desert Rose

I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand

I dream of fire
Those dreams are tied to a horse that will never tire
And in the flames
Her shadows play in the shape of a man's desire

This desert rose
Each of her veils, a secret promise
This desert flower
No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this

And as she turns
This way she moves in the logic of all my dreams
This fire burns
I realize that nothing's as it seems

I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand

I dream of rain
I lift my gaze to empty skies above
I close my eyes
This rare perfume is the sweet intoxication of her love

I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand

Sweet desert rose
Each of her veils, a secret promise
This desert flower
No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this

Sweet desert rose
This memory of Eden haunts us all
This desert flower
This rare perfume, is the sweet intoxication of the fall
