Avenue Q, the Dénouement

10 Tickets have been bought for Tuesday the 16th of June.

We got really good seats to. Third row back from the stage, and right in the centre.

2 additional tickets have been bought for Tuesday the 9th of June for rantinan and friend. Also third row back near the centre.

So that's 12 tickets x $64.90 (so I lied a little bit) plus $6.95 postage. Grand total of $785.75. Someone owes me lunch! :p

One more ticket bought at $64.90, plus $6.95 postage for a total of $71.85.

The bad news is that you're not sitting with us. The good news is that it's the row in front, right in front of us. I'll make sure Steffi sits behind you so she can't see through your head, ok?

Desert Rose

I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand

I dream of fire
Those dreams are tied to a horse that will never tire
And in the flames
Her shadows play in the shape of a man's desire

This desert rose
Each of her veils, a secret promise
This desert flower
No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this

And as she turns
This way she moves in the logic of all my dreams
This fire burns
I realize that nothing's as it seems

I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand

I dream of rain
I lift my gaze to empty skies above
I close my eyes
This rare perfume is the sweet intoxication of her love

I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand

Sweet desert rose
Each of her veils, a secret promise
This desert flower
No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this

Sweet desert rose
This memory of Eden haunts us all
This desert flower
This rare perfume, is the sweet intoxication of the fall
