Compensation for Connex Customers

Well, actually anyone with a valid weekly, monthly or yearly MetLink ticket.

All public transport in Melbourne (plus V-Line services) is free today, in an attempt to compensate people disadvantaged by the heat. This of course doesn't help if you've got a weekly or longer tickets. As a result, Connex is offering a free Daily ticket for all people with Weekly or longer tickets.

It's fairly simple to claim, simply print off the form linked from that page, or pick one up from a manned station, include the ticket or a photocopy of both sides of the ticket if it's still being used, and mail it in.
