Marion (<lj-user="paxford">) invited me around to her place Sunday night for dinner and movies because she wanted someone to keep her company while she contined working on all the sewing for the Brisbane Medieval Fayre (June 7 & 8), plus as an attempt to actually have a life.
Since she got X-Men 1.5 recently as a present, we watched that, and I do have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't a comic, it was a well done, realistic movie.
We also then watched a lot of the special features on the second disk (a lot of behind the scenes stuff).
I think I'm going to have to buy the X-Men 1.5 DVD. I liked.
So after beef stroganoff, X-Men, and some chat, I went home after borrowing some books (all the Sherri S Tepper she had) from Marion.
I then did something very stupid and started reading one of the books. 5:00am I realised what a stupid thing that was and went to bed.
I'm a wee bit tired at the moment...
PS - Stephen has confirmed, it was the Hindu Love Gods version of Rasberry Beret!
