It never rains, it pours

Mum rang.

Dad was playing Bowls early today, and started feeling pain in his chest. He immediately got someone to ring for an ambulance and was rushed to Caboolture hospital. He has since been rushed to the Royal Brisbane hospital. The Aorta has burst, and as a result he's got internal bleeding and a great deal of pain. He's currently listed as being in a "Critical but stable" condition.

The other people at the retirement village didn't think it was a good idea for Mum to drive, so two of them are currently driving Mum down to Brisbane.

At the moment I'm not going anywhere, but if Dad gets worse (unlikely) or Mum needs me (possible) I will be heading up to Brisbane again on short notice.
